The question that will linger on your mind at the completion of the book is whether doomsday will be a result of a massive nuclear war, of microscopic biological agents, or of as now an undiscovered and more horrific weapon. I warned him that the beginning was supposed to be extremely slow to get through, but that then the book turns out to be awesome. This was a fine book, and I enjoyed it a great deal, but I was looking for details about guerrilla missions in the Luzon area, and I didn't get that. This book was so much fun.
