I found it very readable. Home for us is the town of Entebbe in Uganda where my children have grown up as expats thus have had a disconnect from their country of origin. Great book telling the life of a soybean. Great author for the UW as well. Kids loved that I know the author, currently book is at school with my 1st grader to share with the class as we eat soybeans that we grew and roasted. ;-) Very educational...
