This is a great book and a great story I would recommend it to anyone. He makes a new friend who helps him eliminate a ruthless man intent on becoming a land baron, falls in love for the first time with a beautiful rancher's daughter, and becomes part of a breathtaking scenario that reveals a startling fact about his father. This is a hilarious story about Carla. I like Denise Hunter books. It isn't a very easy read, not because the author isn't a good writer (she is) but because the Bhutto family's history is so complicated. I always love the friends forever turned lovers.
